This is the way I scrapbook. I love taking pictures and I usually use them all. All of my posts are filled with tons of pictures and I love it! I do not do the paper scrapbooking. This is way more fun!
Check out my website and see the new warmers and great smelling scents! Email or call if you would like to have a party, one on one smelling party or to place and order.
Andy took me on a date to a concert at Red Butte Garden. I had a wonderful time just sitting on the grass, being with Andy and listening to music. Lyle Lovett and his Large Band played I didn’t even know one song but the music and company was amazing!

The stage, we did not need to be front and center our spot was perfect
I just loved watching my kids take swimming lessons. Gibby did great learning to float on his back, blow bubbles and arm stokes (above the water). Etta can swim! She jumps right in, uses her arms and legs and loves to use her goggles under the water. Both went off the diving board. Etta loved it and loves going down the slide by herself too. Gibby needed daddy’s help and still tells me that the diving board isn’t his favorite. We had a great 2 weeks of lessons. The instructors were amazing and I can’t wait until Aug when I will put them in again!

After the first day we found out one of our friends was in Etta’s class. Etta and Emme had a blast the rest of the time having a friend to play with. Gibby joined in like always saying she is his friend too! We even stayed a few times after class with our friends.

The last day Daddy joined us for swimming lessons. He helped Gibby off the diving board and Etta showed daddy all the fun things she learned. The last part was fun time down where they can go down the slide and Etta loved going down. Gibby just wanted to watch all the other kids. Then we stayed after and went swimming with daddy!

We started the Fourth off with some Blueberry pancakes! The kids love them and ask for them all the time now Andy and Grandpa Mark finished up the roof while I got the kids ready for a friends BBQ.

We spent most of the day hanging out at a friends house. They had some new type of activities for the kids to play with. Next door their neighbor had new puppies so we got to play with new puppies too. Just before it was time to go one of the girls pulled out sparklers. Etta loved it but Gibby not so much (I blame it on the “no nap”). We had a great time and some good food!
All deck out in 4th of July outfits they wore last year. Sweet they still fit! (good thing cause they only wore them once)

Once we got back home we grabbed blankets and pj’s and did some fun little fireworks of our own. The kids choose which ones went next. They loved it and then went straight to sleep.

We had one more day of fun. Grandpa Mark wasn’t leaving until early evening and Andy had the day off. We spent the morning at the dog park, playing in the water and having a nice little hike. Etta stayed close to Grandpa Mark at the park, it was so cute.

Once back home Gibby fell fast asleep and it was time to say Goodbye to Grandpa Mark. We are so glad Grandpa Mark came to visit and extra thanks for the hard work and fixing our roof. We love you and will miss you.

Great Job!
We headed over to the ballpark for one last show of fireworks. Etta danced around showing off her darling dance moves and Gibby joined in doing some crazy break dancing. It fun just sitting outside the ballpark and still seeing a great firework show.

I love how they can just dance and dance without music
(I need to break it into 2 parts or it will be super long)
We were so excited to have Andy’s Step Dad Mark here for the Fourth of July! He was here to help with some home improvements and the kids just loved seeing and playing with Grandpa Mark. He spent the first day getting the structure secure. Then Andy and him worked on tearing off old roof and putting new up.

We made them take a break and meet some friends up in Park City. We wanted fried chicken but do to them also remolding we went to our next favorite place High West Distillery. Delicious food and great company. Gibson wouldn’t finish his dinner and was told no candy for the Sugar Buzz candy store. Still he didn’t finish. Everyone headed over for a little treat and sure enough Gibson asked for candy. I looked at him and said “No, you didn’t eat your dinner”. He then walked out of the store and waited for everyone. Mommy victory!
All ready to go to Park City

Saturday July 3rd
Our friend Jen invited us to have a birthday breakfast with her family and friends at porcupine bar and grill. It being the 3rd I dress the kids up in red, white and blue but daddy didn’t want to participate. We had a great little breakfast and Andy got out of some roof work. Mark stayed behind to keep working. He is such a hard worker.

Happy at breakfast
me too!

Time to head back home to work on the roof
The rest of the day they worked on the roof. They did such a good job and got 90% of it done.
Great work!
Most of Salt Lake was having their fireworks on Saturday instead of Sunday. I packed up a little snack dinner and we drove up to the canyon rim to watch all of the shows in the valley. They kids had a great time running and playing. After our snack dinner we were all still hunger so Andy took a quick trip to wing coop for yummy wings and picked up the dogs from home to join us. It was a great night with no crowed park. We saw 8 shows over the valley and rated Millcreek’s celebration fireworks the best!

After we just walked to the car and went home. It was different then previous shows where the fireworks are a lot closer, but we sure had a good time just relaxing and not fighting with the crowds.
For the last few month Gibby has wanted a Cars party. Everything was about Lightning McQueen, Doc, Mater, the Piston cup, you get the picture. About 3 weeks before his party we watched Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and followed it up with the new Toy Story 3 movie. Well, once we saw those movies he wanted a Toy Story Party. Noooooo!
Once he saw his invitations he was back on board with Cars. He was inviting everyone and didn’t care about his birthday only his party mattered.
Friday was my crazy day. I made decorations, a Pinata, the cake and cleaned up the house and backyard. I was just happy I accomplished it all with 1 hour to spare for a shower.

As the kids came there was a table set out with Cars coloring pages and crayons. This kept them busy until the rest of the kids came. Then it was food, games, pinata time and cake!

A very Happy Birthday boy, Thanks Friends!
Thank You Gibby for being my little Boy! I Love you so much!
Special Thanks to Jenny my sister for the table and picture taking, Joy for being at my beck and call for items I forgot and my sweet Andy putting up with my craziness and doing the food!
We headed over to Gibby’s 3 year check up after going swimming. When we got there Gibby was fast asleep. Guess it serves me right for scheduling an appointment for 2:10pm, during his nap time, after morning summer camp and swimming.
Exhausted
He was great once he woke up. He was so happy to stand on the big boy scale and see his weight and height. Even though he is in the lower percentiles his growth keeps going up. They did blood pressure for the first time and Gibby don’t quite know what was going on but went right along with it.
Getting all measured
Height: 34 1/2″
Weight: 26.7 lbs
Look at those eyes, full of wonder
Once in our room he and Etta where so silly. They would take turns giving each other booster shots. (Always preparing beforehand with positive playing) Once the Dr came in Gibby was his instant buddy. He opened his mouth wide and said “You please get rid of my hiccups?” He didn’t even have hiccups
This is the "pay-shun" chair. My turn for the booster shot.

Gibson did so great with is shot. Later that night he kept reminding me that his leg hurt from his “doctor booster shot”.
A treat for being so brave
Gibby is growing great, learning and is such a sweet and strong little boy. I am so happy to have such a healthy lovable little guy!
My little boy is 3! He has been so excited for his birthday for months. He would tell everyone his birthday is “June”. Once June came I had to convince him it was June but that we had to wait until the 23rd. To which he changed his statement to, “My birthday is coming up”.
I woke Gibby and Etta up early because Andy had to leave for Vegas and he wanted to see Gibby open his presents and say goodbye. Gibson just loved the attention he got! We all told him “Happy Birthday” and sang to him. He opened up his presents, showing Daddy, me and Etta each one once it was unwrapped. Andy gave him a big hug and kiss and headed off to the airport. Gibby and Etta started playing with the presents right away. I made him happy face pancakes for his birthday and he got a big kick out of it.
Present opening time

Happy Birthday Gibby!
The birthday boy very happy with all his presents
Time to color
Do you want breakfast? YES!
A very Happy Birthday Breakfast!
After breakfast we got a call from Grandma Donna and then a call from Grandma Peggy. Gibby was just ecstatic to get phone calls.
His next surprise was a video Andy sent us from the Airport. I guess Andy and Mehmet Okur are good friends.
I told him he played basketball for the Jazz and Gibby got the biggest smile on his face. When he heard his name and happy birthday he wanted to watch it over and over again.
We played all day in the backyard and inside and then Etta and I took him to dinner at Chick-fil-a. They have a pretty decent inside play structure and we had a fun night. No pictures
Once at home and ready for bed, I told him the story of his real BIRTH day. Both Etta and Gibby love hearing “their” special story.
When summer time comes we have to put Radio Disney Days in our calendar. Ebay is one of the sponsors so we get to hand out with Daddy too!
We got there early and hit up most of the booths before they got to crowded. We got goodies, played ring toss, bean bag toss, colored some pictures and got a milk mustache.

We just want our creamy
Yum, yum, a creamy
We played at the bounce house and met up with our friends Sarah, and her kids along with Joy and her kids. The girls had fun sliding and giggling. Gibby loved the bubbles and ran around trying to catch them.

Then he came and asked me if I think he is silly, hehehe cute kiddo

The last thing the kids wanted to do was get their faces painted. The line was but the kids playing in the water while we waited. All their faces looked darling. Well worth the wait.

Then it was time to go we gave daddy a hug good by and everyone left with a colorful ebay balloon and beach ball. We can’t wait until next month!
I ran the Wasatch Back 2 years ago and loved every minute of it. When my friend told me they need another runner for their team, I jumped at the chance to do it again. I am a little disappointed in myself for not training as much as I should have. With the rainy days the 2 months before it was hard to get myself motivated to run. The race came anyway and I did my best.
I was runner 12 and ran up Snow Basin for my first leg. With the elevation I got a little asthmatic which then involved another van helping me out. They picked me up and brought me to my girls who got my inhaler and cheered me on once again.
The next leg was running into Kamas at 7:00am. I was such a beautiful morning run. A nice runner joined me for the first 3 1/2 miles. He was very helpful in pushing me to run a little faster.
My last leg was the last leg of the race. It was beautiful running through park city and up to the canyons. The last 1/2 mile sucked. In all the races I have ever ran in the past the last 50-100 meters usually has a nice little downhill to help you pick up speed and cross the finish line. Nope, yucky up hill all the way to the finish line. My team joined me and helped motivate me to finish with style.
My Van was awesome. All girls so we could girl chat, change really easily and be crazy. I love how we all motivated and cheered each other on. The girls in my van ran super great and didn’t care that I wasn’t as fast as them. Next year girls I will keep up.
